Part-Time On-Call Caregivers

Part-Time On-Call Caregivers work as needed in our adult foster care setting. They are responsible for resident care and services such as housekeeping, meals, personal care and grooming, medication administration, transportation and appointment coordination.

Position requires excellent boundaries; consistently good judgment; effective communication skills; poise and tact in working with diverse clients and constituents; physical ability to perform all job-related functions; ability to respond to clients, their families and friends with authority, respect and compassion; ability to work independently and with initiative; patience; flexibility; and skill in working with volunteers.

Ideal applicants should have a high school diploma, a minimum of one year experience in health care, social services, or HIV/AIDS fields, and availability evenings and weekends.
