Clare Midtown Groundbreaking Ceremony
On May 26th, Clare Housing celebrated the construction of our newest HIV-specific housing development. Clare Midtown is our second affordable housing development and will provide 45-units of supportive housing to people living with HIV/AIDS, opening in early 2011. Clare Midtown is located in the Corcoran neighborhood at 3105 23rd Avenue South, Minneapolis.

Bingo a-GoGo
Biker Bingo – October 10, 2009
Biker Bingo roared in last October for the 23rd Bingo A-GoGo. Miss Richfield 1981 made her entrance in red pleather hot pants riding a tricycle at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis and was greeted by nearly 600 bingo supporters. The event raised $24,000 for Clare Housing and Park House efforts to provide supportive housing and day and mental health services to the HIV/AIDS community in the Twin Cities.

Bingo a-GoGo Event
Retro Bingo - March 21, 2009
On March 21st, Bingo a-GoGo produced the largest bingo event since its inception in November 2002. Over 800 bingo enthusiasts’ attended Retro Bingo at the Hyatt Regency in Minneapolis – raising critical funds for Clare Housing and Park House’s HIV/AIDS programs.

Rock the Cause - Glitter Ball: A Glam Rock Tribute & AIDS Awareness Concert

The folks at Rock the Cause produced another rocking good time with local and national musicians performing their favorite glam rock tributes. The event was held at the Varsity Theater. The Dinkytown location drew a diverse crowd - everyone from U of M students to hip grandmas - who rocked the night away while supporting Clare Housing and MN AIDS Project. Many thanks to everyone at Rock the Cause, the musicians who donated their time, the volunteers, and the hundreds glittery party-goers!
Friends Dining with Friends 2008
Friends Dining with Friends 2008 raised more than $70,000 and introduced hundreds of new friends to Clare Housing's housing and service programs. From February to June 2008, 34 fabulous folks hosted 18 parties, and what grand parties they were! Everything from a ferocious chili party in February to a sparkling pool party in May; Brats, Beer and Bingo to Afternoon High Tea; and Chinese New Year celebrations to a Progressive Game Night where Pepper the miniature dachshund greeted the guests in his [tiny] tuxedo. And finally, a huge housewarming party complete with personal tours, a wine expert and matching dollars for every dollar donated!
MN Red Ribbon Ride
July 17-20, 2008
The 3-day, 300-mile ride through southern MN was a great success. The event raised over $400,000 for seven local HIV/AIDS organizations including the Aliveness Project, the African American AIDS Task Force, Clare Housing, Hope House, the Minnesota AIDS Project, Park House, and the Rural AIDS Action Network. Thank you to everyone who helped make the event a great success and specifically all the Team Clare riders, crew members and supporters!
