Friends Dining With Friends
Friends of Clare Housing host a personal party - ranging from a small neighborhood dinner to a catered gourmet affair - and guests are provided the opportunity to donate to Clare Housing's quality programs.
Here's how hosting a FDWF Party works:
- Commit to host a FDWF party — at your home, work or any venue!
- Pick a date — could be the kick-off night February 9 — or anytime through June 15 2008.
- Determine who will come — think friends, family, colleagues, book club, church group, bowling team, wine tasting group!
- Choose a theme — costume, cocktails, wine, sports, Italian — the list is endless.
- Send the invites designed and provided by Clare Housing, as many as you need, with original art, return cards, envelopes and even an after-event thank you note.
- Clare will provide you with a "mentor" — someone who has hosted a party and can help you with questions or suggestions
- Need help the night of your party? We can provide you with volunteers to help you set up, serve and clean up!
- Have the party! At some point during the evening, tell your guests why you support Clare Housing and ask them to join you in this support through a donation. Uncomfortable doing this? A representative of Clare Housing will be happy to stop by to help you with this.
- After you have recovered, send the donations to Clare Housing. We will thank each of your guests for their generosity!
