The people we house are among the most vulnerable to the virus: immunosuppressed due to HIV, and many are living with co-occurring illnesses like diabetes, heart disease, and other issues. Most are also extremely low-income, making buying essential difficult during the best of times. By helping our residents with the supplies below you are providing critical relief and enabling them to skip a trip to the store that may endanger their health.

If you aren’t able to make it to the store or prefer to make a monetary contribution, you can do so on our GiveMN page. Please indicate “Resident Relief” in the “add a dedication” area.

What Residents Need

Due to health concerns, please donate items that are in their original packaging where applicable. Thank you!

• Kleenex
• Purell
• Digital Oral and Armpit Thermometers (Our nurses have professional ones, but for obvious reasons, we’d like any residents who may get ill to have their own that can be used just for them, and then disposed of later.)
• Clorox Wipes
• Lysol Disinfectant Spray
• All-Purpose Household Cleaners
• Puzzles
• Decks of Playing Cards
• Magazines
• Coloring Books for Adults & Colored Pencils 

Location to Deliver Donations

Deliveries can be dropped off at Clare Apartments (see address below.) When you arrive, simply use the buzzer system to get the attention of the Resident Assistant on staff. They will instruct you to leave your items in the front foyer area.

Out of concerns for maintaining social distance, we will ask you not to enter the building. Our staff member will collect your donation from the foyer. If you’d like a receipt for your donation, please email Debbie Wyman, community outreach manager, at debbie.wyman@clarehousing.org.
