Incredible — $80,000 in matching 30 Gifts incentive grants announced! — March 10, 2017

We are pleased to announce our 30 Gifts campaign! In honor of our 30th anniversary year, we will be seeking out 30 new supporters to make a 5 year commitment to donate $1,000 or more a year by becoming a Journey Home Circle member. This year only, every dollar pledged as a Journey Home Circle gift will be matched thanks to $80,000 in incentive grants over the next five years!

This $80,000 matching gift is made possible thanks to $50,000 from the Otto Bremer Trust, and $30,000 from supporter Rich Olson, in honor of his late husband Rob. Diagnosed with cancer three years ago, Rob was a supporter to the end — even asking for brochures so that he could tell nurses at his hospice about Clare Housing. We are so humbled by Rich and Rob’s tremendous compassion for low-income people living with HIV, and the bold generosity of the Otto Bremer Trust.

These matching funds could not come at a better time. To keep pace with current needs, Clare Housing must begin raising $1 million annually by 2020. Our 30 Gifts campaign is the launchpad we need to get there!
