Brad Bryan new Supportive Services Manager at Marshall Flats —

Marshall Flats has a new Supportive Services Manager! As Randall Parker transitioned to working with residents at Bloom Lake Flats, Brad Bryan (all pronouns) joined the Clare Housing team as our newest SSM!  They bring an amazing breadth of experience and knowledge with them.

Can you tell us what initially attracted you to work with Clare Housing?

I’ve worked within the HIV community for several years now, and one thing I really valued about Clare Housing was the approach to housing as HIV care/prevention. I admire how Clare centers the needs of the community with a housing first approach, wrap around services, and harm reduction emphasis.

Tell us a bit about your work history and how you expect this experience to inform your NEW role.

Before starting work here at Clare, I’ve worked at The Aliveness Project as the Outreach & Mobile Syringe Exchange Manager, providing HIV tests, harm reduction supplies, prevention, and linkage to care. Additionally, I have worked with OutFront MN as a domestic violence advocate. I hope to bring my love of HIV education, knowledge of harm reduction, and community outreach connections into my new role here!

What personal values are you looking forward to bringing to this new role?

Some of the values I look forward to bringing towards my new role include gender equity, harm reduction, and a “meeting people where they are at” philosophy!

Tell us a fun or surprising fact about you, or about what you like to do in your free time!

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my partner and two dogs exploring different dog parks, restaurants, and hanging out with my 5 younger siblings.

We’re so glad that Brad is bringing such a wealth of experience and care to work with the residents at Marshall Flats.  Welcome to Clare, Brad!
