Clare Housing & Project for Pride in Living Partner on New Housing —

We have big news to share! As soon as 2021, we hope to open 42 new doors to housing for families and individuals living with and affected by HIV. Named Bloom Lake Flats, this new housing development will be created in partnership with Project for Pride in Living (PPL).

PPL is one of our oldest collaborators. We first began work with them in 2005 with the opening of Clare Apartments, and they have served as one of our project management companies ever since. This new project will take our joint work to a higher level, and we are pleased to share that we recently submitted our first-round low-income housing tax credit application to Minnesota Housing.

The opening of Bloom Lake Flats is badly needed. Our waiting list averages around 350 people every year. It’s vital that we continue our work to increase the availability of affordable, supportive housing for extremely low-income and homeless people living with HIV in our community.

We are excited to deepen our partnership with Project for Pride in Living and are grateful for their passion and support for Clare Housing’s mission. We are grateful too, for you, all of our supporters! Without your continued passion and advocacy, we could not open new doors to housing.
